We think the UK has a proud history of providing refuge to those in need. However, we think it is imperative to recognise that the world has changed significantly since these legal frameworks were established. We think that updating these laws could ensure the nation continues to uphold its humanitarian values whilst maintaining public confidence in our immigration system.
