We want the Government to legislate for banks take the rent you currently pay as evidence of what you can afford into consideration when offering a mortgage.

We feel that affording to get on the property ladder is next to impossible. We believe the affordable housing schemes, even with discounts, are unattainable for many. We also think that shared ownership schemes could result in paying more than the market rate for rent.
