Exempt charities from increases to employer National Insurance Contributions

We urge the Government to exempt charities from increases to employer National Insurance Contributions as we believe charities save the government millions of pounds by providing services that the Government may not or do not fund. larger charities may see their NIC costs rise by millions!

We believe what the Government is doing is a double-edged sword. Extra government income vs extra NI income, which could force cutbacks and closures of some charities. It may then fall to the Government to provide the services lost at a cost of potentially millions of pounds.
