Stop PIP Cuts: Protect Support for Disabled People

We call on the UK government to reverse the changes to Personal Independence Payments (PIP). We think these cuts unfairly target disabled people who rely on PIP for essential support. We would like fair and compassionate welfare policies that protect, not punish, the most vulnerable in society.

We think the cuts to PIP will devastate disabled people who rely on it for essential support. PIP isn’t a luxury—it covers care, mobility, and basic needs. In the financial year ending 2024, PIP fraud was estimated at 0.0%. We think this shows that these cuts are not about reducing fraud, but taking from those who truly need it. We think it seems that the government can afford many other costly projects, but for those most in need, they apparently cannot afford it.
