I believe chronic sleep deprivation is a daily reality for many unpaid carers and contributes to burnout. With respite care often costing more than £100 per night and Carers Allowance at just £83.30 per week, which barely covers the rising living costs, I believe more funding is needed to help carers have a proper rest while caring.
