Many care and support workers in the private sector are not taking the breaks they are entitled to. Without breaks, care & support workers experience physical & emotional exhaustion, increasing the risk of mistakes that could jeopardize the health and safety of service users. We are asking the government to review enforcement of laws to protect workers rights to breaks.
