Fund all GP surgeries to provide blood tests to patients with chronic illnesses

I want the government to put in place funding to ensure that patients with chronic conditions who need regular blood tests for the rest of their lives can get them in their own community, at their own GP surgery.

Sick, vulnerable, disabled, elderly patients with one or more conditions may have to travel to hospitals, designated hubs or elsewhere for a 30 second appointment to draw blood for a pre-treatment test and then, in the same week, travel to hospital for treatment. Some GP surgeries are no longer doing these tests meaning that people who are already ill or disabled, who may not drive, may be in very rural areas may have to travel up to 100 miles to the various hospitals requesting the tests.
