Collect water from motorways & add more lighting to make them safer to drive on

Improve safety around driving on motorways by collecting rain water which could then be used to clear debris of the roads and be used to aid cleaning motor vehicle crashes. Also add more lights around motorways which could alert drivers to keep them awake to avoid sleepy drivers.

Add drain pipes around the motorway every mile or so to collect water, this could be stored in a reservoir and the built up water pressure can be used to clean dirt and/or debris of the motorway and surrounding roads. We think this could improve road safety. We think adding lights surrounding motorway, this could alert drivers to keep them awake and aware which could decrease crashes and overall improve road safety.
