Cap the Indefinite Leave to Remain fee at £3000

We feel that increasing ILR fees risk financial hardship for families as they must save for the fee with the high cost of living. We want the Government to consider the value people with visas bring to the economy. We believe the UK is losing valued people because of increasingly high fees.

We want the fee to be capped because increasing ILR fees may bring financial hardship particularly for families and workers from different countries who have incurred substantial expenses securing ancestry visas and family based visas etc. This may necessitate immigrants to return to their country of origin because they cannot afford the demands of the increasingly high ILR fees. We feel both applicants and the UK lose the investments made if this happens.
