We think principles 4,6,7,9 and 10 of the Commonwealth Charter are incompatible with current US policy, and consider that this is evidenced by statements and actions taken since January 20th.

We think US policy around diversity does not express tolerance or understanding. We think tariffs work against the flow of trade on equitable terms. We think withdrawal from international agreements on climate change is not a commitment to collective action.
