Require all doctors to receive perimenopause training & GPs to have specialists

We urge the Government to require all doctors and UK medical students to take mandatory perimenopause training and ensure every GP practice has at least one senior medical staff member trained to support, listen to, and properly help women experiencing perimenopause.

We believe more doctors must be educated on the symptoms of perimenopause. Affecting a significant amount of the population, perimenopause can place immense physical and mental strain on women. It can deeply impact relationships, careers, and every part of life—yet many women say they are not heard or helped. We believe this must change.
