We want the Government to amend existing reproductive and family law to allow individuals who have undergone life-changing medical treatments resulting in infertility to retain the right to use previously stored embryos, without requiring consent from their former partner or spouse.

We want the law to be reformed to allow the use of these embryos without the other party’s consent, only in cases where:
- One party has become infertile due to a medical treatment or condition
- The embryos were created with mutual understanding of future fertility concerns
- The other party is not held financially or legally responsible for the child
We think this could allow the infertile person the chance to become a parent, without obligating the other person to take any part in the child’s life.
