We urge the Government to abolish the Life in the UK test, as we feel it imposes undue challenges on families. Parents with children already juggle daily responsibilities, and we believe the added pressure of test preparation further strains them, making the requirement disproportionately demanding.

We think many UK-born citizens would likely struggle to pass the Life in the UK test, raising concerns about its fairness. We believe imposing this requirement on immigrants while many UK citizens may lack the same knowledge creates an undue burden.
