Bring all Social Care into the Public Sector under the NHS & stop means testing.

We demand the government bring all Social and Community Care under the NHS, fully funded by general taxation. We believe neither Social Care, Community Care, nor the NHS should be for profit, but remain free at the point of use.

We want to reverse the changes to Social Care, made over decades, which have resulted in parts of it being transferred to local government, privatised and/or means tested.

We believe that trends in local authority budgets and Social Care funding since 2010 have harmed the sector and that immigration policies have contributed to staffing problems.
