CP doesn’t end at childhood—lifelong, tailored support is vital. we need clear treatment pathways and referral routes to ensure adults with cp can access the healthcare they need, while upholding their dignity, health, and quality of life.

Cerebral Palsy affects around 1 in 400 children in the UK—over 30,000 people. These children become adults, yet there’s no adult-specific CP care pathway.

As people age, symptoms can worsen, mobility declines, and co-morbidities increase. We think a dedicated adult CP healthcare framework is urgently needed to ensure lifelong, appropriate care.
