Full public funding for Level 7 Apprenticeships for people aged 22+

To reinstate full government funding for Level 7 Apprenticeships for Adults aged 22+. Prioritise funding for critical sectors: Accountancy, Law and the NHS. We think these sectors are vital & many firms rely on the government funding.

I think the decision to cut funding for most people aged 22+ to get a Level 7 qualification prevents capable, motivated adults from progressing their career further - especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. I think this will create a financial barrier for those who come from disadvantaged backgrounds and this may only benefit the privileged- those who can afford to take this qualifications.
I would also argue that this is wasting the UKs talent, at a time where the UK needs skilled workers more than ever.
