I want a public inquiry into the abolished partial defence of provocation. I want the public to know that victims never provoked their own deaths and were failed. I want an apology for all victims and their families.

I want a full inquiry into how this was allowed to happen and people who murdered loved ones were able to use the defence of provocation to reduce the charge to manslaughter. I think this resulted in excessively low sentences, blaming the deceased.
