Require hotel platforms to refund for cancellations 2 days before stay

We want the Government to require hotel booking platforms to give full refunds for cancellations made 2 days before check-in. We think this would help protect UK consumers and ensure fair treatment.

Many people book hotels months in advance, but some platforms offer no refund if you cancel outside a narrow window. We believe this is unfair, especially if no service has been used. We want legal protection to ensure fair refunds. We believe stronger rules could hold booking platforms accountable, improve trust in the travel industry, and give UK consumers’ confidence when making bookings.
