Create a task force to improve safety and justice for women and children

We want the Government to create a national task force to work with relevant charities. It should focus on preventing harm to women and children, improving victim support, and increasing conviction rates for abuse, violence, and exploitation.

Women and children face harm from a range of sources. Evidence suggests most abuse happens within families or by someone known to the victim and that the majority of perpetrators are British men. We believe we need a task force that focuses on real causes of harm and improves protection, support, and justice for those affected, not scapegoating.
