We feel no one should have to go through the trauma of arriving home to find that someone has taken up unauthorised residence in their home.

Nor should a person or persons enter someone's home whilst the owner/tenant is in it.

It is not currently a criminal offence in some situations to enter a domestic dwelling without permission by the owner/legal tenant, it can be a civil matter and can involve months of legal procedures and obscene costs to the homeowner. We think this needs to change.
