Make it a specific criminal offence to lie about being bitten by a dog

When people falsely accuse dogs of biting them dogs could be wrongly seized or even killed. This puts strain on dog owners, police and tax payers.

We are concerned that people are making false allegations as a way of attack. False accusations can cause a lot of stress on those involved. We think people who lie about being bitten by a dog should be held accountable with a hefty fine or imprisonment.
