We call on the UK Government to recognise farming/farmland stewardship as UK intangible cultural heritage under the UNESCO Convention, and within obligations under ICESCR & ECHR. Acknowledge farming as a strategic national security asset. Enshrine in law protections from CPOs, punitive tax, or non-farm use without overriding need, due process & fair compensation, safeguarding food security & heritage.

In times of global instability the UK must prioritise food security and our farming heritage.
