Reinstate the policy to deport asylum seekers to Rwanda

On taking office this Government cancelled the Rwanda plan and promised to 'Smash The Gangs'. The annual number of illegal migrants crossing the channel was higher in 2025 than in 2023/24, and we think the gangs have not been smashed. We would like the Government to reinstate the Rwanda plan.

We think the Rwanda plan was working even before a flight had taken off. In 2024 the Irish Government attributed a rise in the number of people claiming asylum in Ireland to the Rwanda policy.

We think that it was and is a deterrent. British tax payers have paid for accommodation, which according to some reports is now being used by nations such as the USA.

We ask the Government to declare that they were wrong to cancel the Rwanda plan and to reinstate it.
