Introduce a Sex Worker's Discrimination Act to safeguard sex workers

I want the government to introduce a Sex Worker's Discrimination Act. I believe new legislation is necessary to safeguard individuals working in the sex industry from discrimination, abuse and social stigma. I think this could help promote a fair, safe and more equal society.

Sex workers are often subjected to prejudice, verbal abuse, and physical violence. These individuals are unfairly judged, which can lead to significant barriers in accessing basic services such as banking, housing and employment. I do not feel the current legal framework offers adequate protection, leaving them open to discrimination.
