Call for new laws on who can administer Botox and dermal filler injectables.

Dermal fillers and Botox are being administered by unqualified individuals, which can result in serious complications and put patients' health and lives at risk. We call for change to ensure only qualified injectors can perform these aesthetic treatments.

We call for an outright ban on unqualified injectors administering Botox or dermal fillers. To qualify, practitioners should be registered medical professionals working in licensed clinics. We believe strong regulation is vital to prevent disfigurement, serious health issues, or fatalities, and that clearer, stricter guidance would protect patients, save lives, ensure accountability, and bring cosmetic injectables in line with other high-risk medical treatments.
