Fund hair removal on the NHS for women with PCOS / hirsutism

The government to take a stand on women's health, hair removal for hormonal conditions should be considered a form of treatment, like medication would be for other health conditions. PCOS and hirsutism is uncontrollable and is a huge self confidence issue for many people.

Hair removal is expensive and is a lengthy process. Self confidence and mental health for many women with PCOS and hirsutism is affected massively. I have struggled with this my whole life and it is impacting my job and many other people around me are also experiencing the same thing. Women’s health is not taken seriously enough in this country and some progress needs to be made. I want the government to actually think about the number of women this condition affects daily.
