We want Government to fund mandatory training for psychiatric and mental health care staff in trauma-informed and compassionate care, and increased access to talking therapies, peer support, and non-medication-based interventions. We believe hospitals sometimes respond to mental health crises with heavy medication and sedation, which we think is wrong.
