Airport and airline workers deserve Christmas Day off, just like other transport staff. Rail, bus, and ferry services stop, yet aviation continues, denying employees rest and family time. These workers keep the nation moving all year. The government should legislate to ensure a 24 hour pause on Christmas Day to promote fairness, wellbeing, and respect for those who serve the public every other day.
