Grant legal right for students to record conversations with university staff

I would like the government to look at legislation regarding university transparency, and for students especially vulnerable and disabled students to have the power to record all and any conversations to increase accountability and allow new pieces of evidence to be collected for student benefit.

I believe lecturers, professors and admin staff can get away with far too much, some outright refusing to be recorded, why? We’re concerned it could be to get away with denying disabled and neurodivergent support, and misrepresenting students-staff conversations, change the law, grant a legal right for students to record conversations with university staff at all times.
