Require carbon monoxide detectors to be installed in all new cars by law

All new cars should be fitted with carbon monoxide detectors as standard. We view this as an inexpensive fix which would avoid more unnecessary deaths. Further awareness is a necessity.

CO is a silent killer, undetectable by the nose, and can build up in the body to dangerous levels. Detectors are relatively cheap, but few people are aware of this issue until it is too late. CO detectors are installed in some homes by law, why not in new cars? Brand new cars should have them installed during design process.
