Launch a review of UK fishing laws

We urge the Government to launch a review of fishing laws, which looks into giving UK boats and anglers fair access, restricting foreign super-trawlers and fish stock management. We believe protecting our waters, rebuilding fish populations, and supporting coastal communities should be the priority.

We believe our seas are under pressure, fish stocks are declining, and foreign super-trawlers take far more from UK waters than local boats and recreational anglers. Many coastal communities rely on healthy fisheries for jobs, tourism, and heritage. We believe we need fair, science-based rules that protect our waters, rebuild stocks, support British boats, and ensure future generations can enjoy the fishing we once had.
