Keep Lifetime ISA for retirement savings & make a new ISA for first time buyers

I urge the Government to keep the current Lifetime ISA for retirement savings and reconsider scrapping or reforming it. We believe it is not a complicated product for those who use it to save for their future retirement and that first time buyers seem to be the ones having issues.

We want the Government to leave the Lifetime ISA in place for long-term savers and to instead consider starting a new ISA for first time buyers to save for their homes, as that seems to be where the issue lays.

We believe the current Lifetime ISA is a wonderful product that a lot of people rely on for saving for their retirement, and the talk of scrapping it is causing a lot of anxiety. Many people have invested their money in it since it started, and we feel the fact the Government may scrap it is unfair.
