Review welfare policies to incentivise work

We ask the Government to review welfare policies to ensure they incentivise employment and do not increase the tax burden on working people. We believe current changes risk discouraging work and increasing unfair pressure on taxpayers.

Many working households face rising financial pressure from frozen tax thresholds and higher deductions. We are concerned that changes to welfare, including the two-child benefit cap increase, may risk reducing work incentives. We believe Parliament should ensure tax and welfare policy is fair, supports those who work, and targets benefits to genuine need.
