Many workers in construction, care, manufacturing and similar roles experience physical decline earlier due to years of manual labour. A flexible or reduced pension age would recognise the physical toll of these jobs and support fairness in retirement. Workers who have contributed over 35 years in physically demanding jobs should be eligible to claim there state pension at 62 without financial reduction.
