Ban the sale of vapes in stores located in properties with residential units

We believe the recent fire in Glasgow Union Street highlights the dangers of Vape stores. In this case there were no casualties but this resulted in a fire requiring several fire engines, and we think this could have had far more serious consequences and has impacted so many businesses.

Until this fire - it had not crossed my mind the dangers of these vape stores. Where I live there are at least 3 vape stores with residential properties above them. I am concerned that if one of these were to go on fire overnight when people are sleeping and buildings are unattended the consequences could be catastrophic. I therefore call on the Government to consider new restrictions on where vape stores can be located.
