Require warning signs at least 500M before speed cameras

We are calling on the government to make it mandatory for signs to be displayed at least 500 meters before any operational speed camera. We believe this shift would prioritise safety over penalisation, and aid in creating a more transparent system for all road users.

Driving can already be a stressful experience, but the sudden and unannounced appearance of stealth speed cameras can make it even worse. I recently found myself overtaking on a road, ensuring minimal disruption to other drivers and maintaining safety. Suddenly, I received an unexpected fine in the mail because I exceeded the speed limit by a fraction just to overtake safely. We think this is not fair, and I know others have experienced the same.
