To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, what assessment her Department has made of the (a) export opportunities and (b) international growth potential of UK solar technology companies.

DECC has been actively working with UKTI and other colleagues across Whitehall to identify new opportunities for the UK solar sector, promote the sector overseas through trade missions and other similar activities, and will continue to do so.
