To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what steps he taking to ensure that the forthcoming presidential election in Kenya is conducted in a free and fair manner.

We are committed to supporting the electoral process in Kenya and helping to ensure free, fair, peaceful and credible elections. The UK has provided non-partisan technical assistance, working with international partners to support election management, legal reforms and efforts to resolve disputes and reduce violence.
