The Vaccine Data Resolution Service can correct vaccine records for individuals with missing first and/or second doses. Currently, there are no plans to allow general practitioners (GPs) to perform this function. The service for United Kingdom residents vaccinated abroad is trialling the expansion of wider health and care settings, including GPs, making submissions to the national team who process all recorded overseas vaccinations. This would be offered and available to those health settings who opted to utilise the service but would not be mandatory.
