Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, whether he has had recent conversations with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care on the impact of mould and damp issues on people’s (a) health and (b) wellbeing.

Social landlords have a legal obligation to ensure their homes are decent and safe. The Secretary of State has written to social housing providers, and to Chief Executives of local authorities on these issues. In line with the practice of successive administrations, details of internal discussions are not normally disclosed.
