Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps he is taking to help ensure that his Department's delivery targets enable Integrated care boards to address wider health system challenges.
This question was answered on 14th December 2022
The Department and NHS England have established a legislative framework and prioritisation and oversight arrangements to enable integrated care boards to work with partners to improve health outcomes. We have also commissioned an independent review of further support for integrated care systems, which will also consider the role of delivery targets.
