Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, when he plans to publish an assessment of the reconstruction needs of British Overseas Territories affected by Hurricane Irma.

A team of technical experts will start discussions with the Overseas Territory Governments this week, to help them identify their future reconstruction needs. Given the levels of devastation caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria, it is not possible to be precise about when those needs will be fully assessed and prioritised.
