Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what estimate he has made of further financial support which will be required in the current financial year by British Overseas Territories following Hurricane Irma.

The Government has allocated £57 million to meet the immediate humanitarian needs of the three Overseas Territories affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria. We are assisting the Overseas Territory Governments with their impact and needs assessments, which will inform their future requirements.
