Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether Network Rail will remain responsible for and have control of the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the Valley Lines after their transfer to the Welsh Government.
This question was answered on 9th October 2017
The current proposal by the Welsh Government is that if ownership of the Cardiff Valley Lines is transferred, Network Rail will not remain responsible for their day-to-day maintenance and operation.
