Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, if he will make it his policy to introduce new powers to encourage developers to build out.

I refer the Hon Member to the Secretary of State’s Written Ministerial Statement of 6 Dec, which address local plans and build out, as well as the infrastructure levy. We will be launching a technical consultation on the Infrastructure Levy shortly which consider the timing of payments.
