Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many people were (a) proceeded against and (b) convicted of an offence under the Deer Act 1991 in each police force area in 2016.

The following information was provided by the Ministry of Justice.

The number of defendants proceeded against at magistrates courts and found guilty at all courts in England and Wales of offences under the Deer Act 1991, by police force area in 2016, can be viewed in the accompanying table.
