Construction: National Vocational Qualifications

Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many young people in England completed a Level 1 award in construction followed by an on-site NVQ in the most recent 12 months for which data is available.
This question was answered on 16th October 2017
In the 2015/16 academic year, 22,410 learners aged under 19 completed a Level 1 qualification in the 'Construction, Planning and the Built Environment' Sector Subject Area.
The Department does not hold information on the number of students progressing from level 1 construction courses to on-site NVQs.
