Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, with reference to the policy paper, The exchange and protection of personal data: a future partnership paper, published on 24 August 2017, what economic assessment the Government has made on the removal of free data transference between the UK and EU data protection adequate countries after the UK leaves the EU.

I refer the Hon member to the responses I gave in the Chamber during the Leaving the EU: Data Protection debate on Thursday 12 October.
