Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what discussions he has had with his EU counterpart on the development of a bespoke UK-EU Veterinary Agreement.

The Government is engaging in talks with the EU to address the issues of the Northern Ireland Protocol including on the movement of goods of plant and animal origin. The Foreign Secretary met Vice President Sefcovic last week and technical talks continue.
