Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to her Department’s published procurement card spend over £500 for March 2021, what was purchased from Wildy on 2 and 3 March 2021; and for what purpose were those purchases made.

This spend relates to the purchase of six legal texts for use by the then Chief Inspector of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services. These texts were not available through the usual purchasing frameworks.

The texts supported work being carried out by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS).
